Year 1/2 Marvellous Minibeasts Incursion

During Term 3, the Year 1/2 students will be exploring the fascinating world of minibeasts as part of our Biological Sciences unit. To extend and enrich their understanding of this topic, students will participate in a highly interactive and hands-on Minibeast Incursion. Through role-play, close observation, and a variety of engaging discovery stations, students will investigate the features, adaptations and life cycles of a range of minibeasts. They will have the opportunity to handle and feed creatures, examine specimens under microscopes, and design their own bug adaptations. This exciting incursion will harness students' natural curiosity while supporting their learning about how living things grow and change, their unique features and adaptations, and their role within food chains.
