We are keen to have as many people in our school community aware of our activities as possible. There are a number of ways that you can find out what's on, and how you can get involved.


Please ensure you sign up to both of our communication apps - Konnective and Compass, as well as read the Friday newsletters, and check the website regularly to keep up to date with what is on both in your child's class, and in the school community. Information sent via Konnective and Compass can only be accessed by verified parents and carers once you have requested approval. Details about how to do this are listed in the table below.

App – Konnective


(Immediate emergency alerts and social communication)


  • Provide fundraising activity information
  • Advise special days
  • Requests for volunteering
  • Real times updates on rapidly changing events Eg bus arrival times, and emergencies (trees down, flooding etc)


 Step 1: Download the app via:

 Step 2: Register/Request Approval

  • After you download the app, press the Register button.
  • To register for the first time, enter your email address, first name, last name and set up a password.
  • You will receive an email asking you to click on a link to verify your email address. Check your spam/junk folders if it does not arrive.
  • Once you have verified your email, open up the app and tap the Login button
  • Enter your email address and the password you set when you registered.
  • Go into My Menu and select My Connections. Then press Add (top right corner) and choose the feed that is relevant to you (i.e. the Prep class your child is in, as well as the wider school feed).
  • You can request Approval for any feed that is relevant to you.
  • Once you request Approval, the school will authorise access to this feed. This might take some time over the holidays.

  • School notices about closures or anything that may impact the school e.g. Enrolments, pick up requirements, student photos
  • Parent/teacher conferences
  • School reports
  • Parents/carers to advise attendance.
  • School supported activities i.e. Scholastic book club



 Further uses:


 To book a parent/teacher conference (Terms 1 and 3):

  • You will be notified by the school when booking times open for each of your child's teachers. 
  • In the app, click on the 3 lines in the top left corner.
  • You will see a list that says 'Home, Notifications, Conferences etc.'
  • Select 'Conferences'
  • You will see a list of your child's teachers.
  • Select the teacher, and the conference time.
  • You will be able to view all of your bookings in ‘Conferences’


 All school notices are kept in the ‘Notifications’ section of   Compass.

  • Principal’s update

  • Certificates of merit
  • Run by our Year Six Student Leaders
  • Held from 3pm – 3.30pm each Monday, in our gymnasium.
  • All parents and carers are welcome to attend.

 Class Emails from   Teachers

  • General class announcements 
  • Requests for parent support
  • From time to time your class teacher may email you with reminders about upcoming events
  • In addition they may seek your support for events or excursions as parent/carer helpers.

 Class   Representatives

  • Class activity reminders
  • Social activity reminders from the Parents & Friends Association (PFA)
  • Each class is required to nominated a Parent Class Representative.
  • Parent email lists are sent to class representatives at the start of each year for class communication. (Please advise your teacher if you would like to be a class rep at the start of the year!)
