Year 4 Kitchen Garden
Garden was really fun! We cleared up a bed full of fennel, carrots, and beetroot for new plants. We might plant all sorts of new things like corn, potato, and many more. Mike’s group pulled out a lot of big fennel plants and weird looking purple carrots. We got the wheelbarrow group to take all the plants we pulled out that we didn’t need to the general waste bin. It took a lot of effort to clear up a few garden beds. We all worked as a team to look after our garden with care. We enjoyed garden!

Our Staff
Continuing our series on getting to know our staff at Wattle Park Primary School, we introduce Adam Lawrence, a new teacher on staff at WPPS who replaces Mrs Cooper in Year 5A:
Hello Everybody,
My name is Adam Lawrence and I am fortunate to have joined Wattle Park this term to teach 5A for the remainder of the year. Many of you may have seen me around the school over the course of the year working in different grades as a relief teacher. Prior to this I worked at other schools around Melbourne, country Victoria and overseas.
I love travelling and have been lucky enough to combine that with my passion for education, teaching English to students in some remote corners of the globe. When not travelling or at school you might find me working with stained glass, cooking, reading, hiking, playing sport or watching AFL. Sadly, I’m a long-suffering Essendon tragic.
I’m very excited to join the team here at Wattle Park and am looking forward to being part of such a supportive school community.
Adam

You may notice this poster features Mr Linsday’s head. This is because Mr Lindsay has volunteered to be ‘slimed’ each time we reach another $2000.
Whole School Production
This needs no introduction as the EVENT OF THE YEAR!
Ms Michalska has kept the content of this production secret but I do occasionally glimpse tiny hints of something fabulous going on. There will be no other place to be:
6.30pm Tuesday October 29th
Tickets will go on sale at 9am, Wednesday 16th October, via the Trybooking QR code or via https://www.trybooking.com/CUJDA
Ground works
You may have noticed two concrete pads have sprung up. These are for new seating - because I am quite sure by the time we get to December we will all be needing a place to rest!
