Parent-Teacher Meetings
WPPS, like all state government schools, offers two face/online interviews per year and two written reports per year. The format is:
| Semester 1 | Term 1 | Parent-Teacher meetings |
| Term 2 | Written report | |
| Semester 2 | Term 3 | Parent-Teacher meetings |
| Term 4 | Written report |
Our Parent-Teacher Meetings for this semester will occur in week three.
Parent-Teacher Meetings are a hybrid version offered online or on site. The default position is on site unless organised with your teacher.
Please note that anyone who has an SSG scheduled this term does not have a parent-teacher meeting.
The opportunity to book a PT meeting will occur at 4pm on Monday 20th of July.
Canteen
Canteen is open for business in term three.
For new families to the school, the Canteen operating days are Thursdays and Fridays only. All orders for lunches are through the Flexi Schools App.
To place an order, download the free Flexischools App from the App Store or Google Play. Once you have downloaded the app you will order and pay online.
Orders must be placed by 4pm the day before the order is required.

| Friday orders | by | 4pm Thursday |
Trouble Parking?
Having some trouble parking around the school? We ask that you do not use our amazing neighbours' driveways and, in particular, our local community organisations, such as Papilio Early Learning, across the road. They’ve informed us that a number of WPPS families have been parking at their facilities, impacting their services.
A little warning: they will be reaching out to the local police station for assistance. So, please be mindful of where we park and help our neighbours.

ICAS
Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are delighted to inform you that we will be participating in the world-renowned ICAS competition again this year across Years 4 – 6.
What is ICAS?
ICAS (International Competitions and Assessments for Schools) is an online academic competition that is designed to assess students’ higher order thinking and problem-solving skills in English, Mathematics, Science, Writing, Spelling and Digital Technologies.
Each assessment celebrates students’ accomplishments by providing opportunities for recognition and development. Every student who participates will receive a printed certificate and an online results report. Top performers will be eligible for medals.
We encourage you to consider entering your child (Year 4-6 only) into ICAS this year.
Learn more about ICAS here.
How to participate in ICAS
If you wish for your child to participate in ICAS this year, please:
Please note that the ICAS tests shown for selection are at the school’s discretion.
After payment is made via the Parent Payment System, you will receive an order confirmation email. Please keep this for your records.

To get started:
School Tour
We welcome you to book a school tour. These are held at 10am every Friday. Please book online. Tours last approximately 1 hour, and tours outside of these hours are by appointment.
Australian Dental Health will be visiting Wattle Park Primary School from the week beginning on 24/08/2026 to provide on-site dental check-ups for eligible students.
Dental check-ups help maintain good oral health and are a simple way
to have this taken care of during the school day.
Parents and guardians are required to complete a consent form prior to the visit.
Additional spire paper forms are avaibale from the office.
Physical forms or on line applications must be received no later than the 27 July.
Register and provide consent here: https://schooldentaladh.snapforms.com.au/form/adhv-consent-form
In order to keep our First Aid Room clean and tidy, we require volunteers to assist with this task. It is not time consuming and requires approximately 15 minutes of your time on a FRIDAY.
